Welcome to the PIP Lab @ NJIT!

The Play, Interfaces, and People Lab at NJIT does exactly what it says on the tin. We work on research projects at the intersections of these topics, leveraging interdisciplinary knowledge and a love of play to explore how play and games technologies can help people learn, work, collaborate, and have fun. Our current projects include early exploration of creative sense-making in triadic play settings, multi-user co-located virtual reality as a patient education tool, and a platform that lets youth design and create their very own games for the World’s Largest Architectural Videogame Display.
